Arum italicum

Anyone growing this in the Orlando area? If so how does it do for you?

I am looking for a summer dormant groundcover for shady areas. I have a place that is filled with caladiums in summer, and I'd like to have it alternate with some other fill plant during winter. Thought this might be a good choice. Any other suggestions for winter growing plants to fill in the area where caladiums are in summer?

Most of the annuals will do good during the winter and die off for the summer. :o)

RE: Arum italicum

Thanks katkin. I should have been more specific. I am not interested in annuals, they are too much work. I am looking for bulb and perennial plant combinations that give year round interest season after season.

I'd love to hear about good or bad experiences people have had with arum italicum - anyone growing it here?
