I do not know the variety but they are quite tasty. The fruit is small but sweet and juicy. Since I started composting the quantity and quality has improved immensely. Another factor is the banana patch is near the compost. Also the trees are much fatter and taller.

    Looks great. My Raja Puri just started 2 flowers and I have one bunch already hanging. I am in NE FL so I don't know if that bunch will make it by frost grrr. They are a little smaller than yours are. Last year I cut it because I thought it would freeze. Turned out it didn't even freeze hard enough here to light the heater in the gh and none of the bananas even died back that were in the ground. I'm just gonna leave mine this year and see what happens.
    I dump chicken and rabbit compost on mine and they love it.
