I believe they need about 6-8 weeks of refrigeration. I don't think you will get any flowers unless they are tulips which grow in warm climates.

When I lived in NY, I would force bulbs by putting them in pots and chilling them until roots formed and they would start sprouting. I then moved them into the warm house and they would flower a few weeks later.

I'm afraid you will not get anything except leaves unless you chill them longer.

I usually had the best results by chilling until mid dec. Be sure to keep them dry and away from vegetables.
I planted them in very crowded pots for the best show.
. Didn't have much luck directly in the ground
As I recall the minimum chill period was 10 weeks below 40 so warmer growing types would be easier. Though rare you can sometimes get them to repeat by putting them back in the fridge by May or when ever night temps stay above 55. They definitely hate warm and humid lol
had much better luck with daffodils ,bearded/ dutch iris though my wife insisted on using the fridge for storing vegies. so often ended with rot.
Would be wonderful if you could keep them below 70 while growing but that is really tough!!lol Good luck and let us know how it works?? gary
