How can I get rid of this horrible weed?

Heartleaf Drymary. Sounds like something one would grow in an herb garden. Instead, it's a horrible weed with flowers that stick all over your shoes, socks, pantlegs, dogs, cats, or anything else that dares touch it. It grows in ever-expanding patches, choking out the lawn as it goes. Oh, did I mention the flowers stick to everything (including the lawn mower) ? This means mowing the lawn is effectively "seeding" the lawn with this horrible weed. Every winter I battle this crap, and I always lose. Last year, I decided I had to resort to chemical warfare, and deployed "Weed-B-Gone" and it dazed it, but it doesn't take long for the drymary to shake it off and start growing again. How can I get rid of this plague without killing the St. Augustine grass? Hand pulling is out of the question. It's impossible to dig it up completely. Even if you could get all the roots, you're planting sticky seed pods in the process.
