pigeon peas

I planted pigeon peas for the first time this year and I think I got the latest maturing variety (I started them inside before the last frost). I got the seeds from a family member in PR where cool nights aren't a concern. Not great when you have cool weather this early in the year. It's forecast to go down into the 30's tonight and they are in full bloom. Will those temps ruin the peas? And does anyone know of a variety that matures earlier and where can I get some? Thanks!
