What is this plant

Seen this plant growing in an area not being maintained at my child's school. Is this a type of sage or porterweed? It seems to be self propagating and does appear to have seeds on it now too.

Geez, it is seeding and looks easy to grow but as near as I can tell it is invasive and non native. Thanks Kay. No freebies today.

It is a beautiful plant, but I can't grow it, no matter what I try - I consider you lucky!
