I don't remember the name but I think it's in the spiderwort family. Can be very invasive if it hits the ground. I've been spraying Roundup in my lawn all week trying to keep it in control.

One name people give this plant is a Bolivian Jew. It grows
very quickly and can take over especially in the spring til
fall. It slows down a bit in the winter. It's a great plant to
fill in empty spaces, but it takes a lot to keep it under control. Where I used to live I planted it too much, where I
live now it is used only in certain areas.

I figured this was too good to be true when it went crazy and filled the pot and all the stems have roots everywhere.

It's staying in the hanging basket and I'm watching it like a hawk!
