Jatropha podagrica

My Buddha belly is producing seeds faster that I can collect them. Is anyone interested in having a few. Each new stalk produces six seed pods and I have been lucky enough to catch a few before they explode on me.

To date I have four juvenile plants growing and I will say they add a new leaf about each week. I will post pictures later on today. My parent plant is in the ground and has done well over the winter hopefully that will continue.

I have read that many people who have these don't get seeds.

I slip the toe of a panty hose over the seed pod & fasten it with a twist tie before they mature. That prevents the seed from exploding everywhere.

Good idea, I have read that before - guess I am going to have to breakdown and buy some knee highs or something. I tried a bag but in the head it wilts the seeds.
