Prionyx wasps--how to encourage?

Yesterday I saw a ginormous B-52 of a wasp, black with a red abdomen, a critter I'd never seen before. It made the big paper wasps look positively petite.

A little googling informed me that it's a prionyx wasp, which feeds on grasshoppers. I think that's an excellent Idea and I'd like to do anything I can to encourage them to hang around, but I couldn't find very much info about what to do for that. Outside of the fact that it's a solitary ground-dweller I couldn't find much info at all, as a matter of fact.

Anyone know a good way to persuade them to take up residence? We've got plenty of lubbers for them.
