Perfect! Especially with the two tall framing trees. I can just picture a dinner party there with the Italian String lights running from the trees to the house!

Really a nice addition, now you just need some big pots with plants to grace your new patio!

The original plan was for the whole family to get to together and lay the bricks down over the concrete pad but that never happened. The bricks sat on pallets in the back yard for well over a year before my parents hired someone to lay them. The guy they hired did a fantastic job and with the thick concrete pad under the bricks we don't have to worry about the nearby crape myrtles lifting the bricks with their roots. The bricks contrast very nicely with the large limestone rocks that edge the flowerbeds.

Believe it or not those tall framing trees are crape myrtles. they tend to make a bit of a mess on the patio & sidewalk but I think they are worth it for the flowers in the summer and in the winter we get to admire their beautiful bark and shape.

They do have a very big concrete pot that is going to be located there somewhere.
