I am just now stating a compost pile, am starting with a boatload of sycamore leaves. I have 2 questions. Will live oak leaves be too acidic for good compost? And is it advisable to use spanish moss in the compost. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

You can use it all - tho I think the live oak leaves may be slower to decompose than others. I understand Spanish moss is high in nitrogen...?

Shredding the tougher stuff will help it break down faster.
