Peppers, peppers and yes!....more peppers

I've been wanting to dehydrate and powder my peppers for some time.....I finally tried our new gas oven set to it's lowest temp....170 degrees.....

I already tried one small batch using the frozen outcasts from my garden....you know all the mis-shapen and ugly pods.....It took about 12 hours to get the thin skinned pods to totally dry.....the thick jalapenos took longer....

Well I wanted POWDER for BBQ rubs and such so I had to buy my peppers from the market....Here's the oven with a batch of Hot Long Peppers.....Jalapenos.....and Scotch Bonnet and Haberneros for some HEAT
