My dad calls this a Spanish lace tree but when I tried to look it up I could only find a type of lavender. This plant rolls out its new growth similar to a fern but once a leaf is somewhat mature it no longer resembles a frond. Leaves are thin. The plant will get very bushy if not pruned. We live in central Florida and it's an outdoor plant that prefers bright shade. I'm going crazy trying to find out the name of this tree or shrub! Please help me!
