What type of bush is this?

Can anyone tell me what type of bush this is? Is it desirable and worth saving? Or is it invasive? ( sorry about the double post...I couldn't figure out how to post both pictures together :) )
Thanks so much!

There is a Plant ID forum on here that might get you an answer sooner. Knowing where you live would help too. It looks like something that grew in 9a Florida and was used for privacy hedges. I can't think of the name right now. Sorry!

The plant ID site is called Name That Plant. There is a link to it in the paragraph on here before you scroll down.
