Please identify this pepper plant

Hi folks,

This pepper plant was given to me. My friend didn't know the name of it or the name of the peppers. She said she waters it and can't figure out how to take care of it. Looks like the peppers are drying up before they reach the size there suppose to be.

Any help will be appreciated!

I'm not sure what type of pepper plant you have for sure, and I've seen a lot of pepper plants. Maybe after it turns color. The problem is either the quality of the soil, its rootbound, or it needs to be watered more often. I water my pepper plants every day to make sure they produce well.
