Scented? Thorny? Could be Cramoisi Superieur or another red china. Does look like Double Knockout to me, though.

FYI: almost all china roses do well in Florida.

Thanks for your replies. It is not Louise Phillipe or Cramoisi superior. I do have them both. The color is similar to LP and it does not change colors. Katkin is right I think, as someone stated Cracker rose. But I know LP also goes by the name of Cracker rose. It does not have as many petals as LP. It is not double knock out either as I have it in my front yard. 2 years ago I replaced single KN out with DKN. DKN is more thorny, and so far it has not grown more than 3 feet for me. I posted in Antique rose forum also and someone suggested Slater's crimson china, which it looks similar to and the other suggestion was again Florida's Red Cracker rose..
