Santa brought me a couple of Heliconia rostrata along w/ a few smaller tropical plants. I know the colder weather is coming up so I am wondering if I should plant them now and mulch and hope they dont freeze or wait.

The smaller tropical ones I could easily bring inside to a back room so I am thinking to wait for them, but the 2 Heliconia rostrata are tall I would say 6 to 8 feet, but I might be able to get them in the back room on cold nights.

I am not sure what I should do since it is so close to transfer/planting once established I am not so worried about them.
