I really like this one. Although I can see where it could be invasive the stalks and rhizomes are easy to pull up....I'm going to put groupings of it 4-5 places around the house because it is so beautiful and unusual, and the bees are going crazy over it.

It is a native here. Blooms a long time. One of my favorites. It doesn't spread real fast here.

Thanks folks, I like it so well I've ordered seeds for the white, now if I could only find a true pink like Rose Queen :-(

You're very welcome Tom. I haven't really had an issue with it spreading much in my gardens since my soil is mostly sand. In Ohio it did have a tendency to get a little more invasive due to the richer soil. It is a beautiful flower. I had pink, purple and white there, only purple here. If I see the pink anywhere I'll let you know.

If you do please let me know, I'd love to have either/both of the pinks, dark and light. I got quite a few hits for "pink" but their pictures were all showing lavender. The only pink I could find had a silly price, five seeds for $2 :-(

Check amazon. Several vendors have seeds for pink varieties, not sure if they are te pink you want. I'll keep looking :)
