It is a copper pod, Irish Petticoats, I think.

It's a Copperleaf, an Acalypha. Don't know the correct species, but it's common name is "Curly Ruffle".

Another cultivar of Acalypha that looks like that and is common in the nursery trade is 'Hoffmannii'.

I meant to say copperleaf. Dave's Garden says that Irish petticoats and Hoffmannii are one in the same. Curly Ruffle might be another name for it too.

From the pictures I've seen on line, curly ruffle is a burgundy colored one.

'Hoffmannii' is an heirloom variety. Often "newer" names get put on old plants to make it seem like a new variety.
