Ruscus in bloom.......

I noticed that my Ruscus was blooming today, easy to miss but worth bending over to take a closer look. Just happened to have my camera in hand and got a pic. Unfortunately my camera lacks macro so I wasn't able to get a super up close shot. The flowers actually bloom out of the center of the leaf and produce a small red berry that will form in the middle of the leaf.

Oh boy, that is sooooooo weird, I just love it! I hope you'll post a pic when the berries form, that's got to be even weirder and I'm a "the weirder the better" type of girl.

Margaret these are indeed pretty crazy! I really like them, I will post a pic when it forms berries. Alicia :0)
