| I'm a big big fan of coleus and I decided to mix in some ornamental grass with them a couple of years ago.
The initial May planting in my kitchen looked pretty sad! I laughed at the size of the container but knew it would grow into it nicely if I kept the coleus trimmed:
I fertilized once a month and left them outside to do their thing, in full sun. Shade-loving plants my butt! The color difference was amazing. These are "sun coleus" varieties. This picture was taken in August, three months later:
