Japanese maple 'Aureum'

I love the varied foliage of Japanese maples and last year was fortunate enough to find 4' tall specimens of 'Aureum', often called the "Full Moon Maple" for the elegant shape of its leaves, for a great price at one of the local nurseries. The color is a fabulous chartreuse with a red tint as fall creeps in. I was able to click this photo just as the tree was starting to turn color, before I planted it.
