I love mixing foliage in the garden, and here's a combination I wasn't sure would work, but it did. Strobilanthes (Persian Shield) and a Pelargonium hotorum hybrid "Skies of Italy" are planted in a shaded bed. We look down on this bed from our kitchen, and it looks great even from 18' up.
