Another coleus question

I pinched my coleus last fall before frost and rooted the cuttings successfully. So far, they've grown and looked beautiful. Now, they are dropping leaves and dying even with the same care. I've seen no bugs on them although I have had problems with white fly and aphids on some pepper plants a few feet away--these were from last year's garden and produced a few peppers earlier. The soil is a regular potting mix to which I added some compost. I try to keep them moist but not water-logged. The only difference is that the sun in their south facing window is becoming more intense but the temperature in that room remains the same. I've moved the plants to a spot with bright indirect light but even in their brighter spot, they were leaning toward the light. I would appreciate input and ideas from those with better luck. It seems every time I bring coleus into the house in fall, this decline begins about this time of year. Thanks in advance.
