Poor ficus tree!

We moved and my indoor ficus tree is now in a very sad state of affairs. Can I even hope that it will come back to it's prior state of being?

"Ficus" covers a lot of ground. What species? What's it look like? Wet soil? What color are the dropping leaves? What light is it growing in now? - then? Roots smell rotten?

Hey there: Ficus trees panic easily. A move of 6" or a simple rotation in place can cause a leaf drop. That's the bad news, the good news is that if there is no physical damage from the move and you put it in an appropriate location, the foliage will come back. :)-Sandy
