care of an unidentified croton

I picked up an unmarked croton that was looking pretty sad at home depot, I know that it is a croton, though I don't know it's specific variety - it's leaves are a deep burgundy color. I have never had a croton before, and so I am looking for some advice as to the care, and what conditions are most accomodating for this plant. Can anyone help me out? Any advice is very greatly appreciated, thanks so much.

Here's some good info. They prefer humid, warm conditions so keep that in mind. RJ
