 o
help on blue dracaena!

Hi,
I found two of blue dracaena in my yard (cordyline indivisa, 5' ) have dark and brown leaves in the center, not the leaves on the outer edge. Are they dying? or some disease? I really need help on this problem.
Thanks very much

RE: help on blue dracaena!

Sounds like the growth tip rotted. This can happen if it is too wet or too cold. The plants can come back and branch in the spring if the stems are still solid. I would cut the tip off of one of them and open it up and see how bad the rot is. If it is really bad, cut the other one, too. Or you could try leaving one to nature, and cutting the other. See what happens.
