Purple Heart wandering jew losing its colour

My purple heart wandering jew is losing its colour. Its still purple on the underside, but looking very green on the top.

Could it be too much water?

The were already here when we moved in, and were lovely and purple, but a bit sad looking because they hadn't been cared for in months. Now the plants are vigorous and healthy, but are going green :(

What kind of light do they get?

If it gets too much sun, the stripes will begin to run and the purple and green will bleed together. Eventually the plant will turn completely green. To avoid this, move fading Wandering Jew to a more shaded area. Once the new growth is purple, you can cut the green out.

Hope this helps. It worked for me.
