Anyone know what this is?

I found this growing wild in the woods in North Carolina near my house..never seen it before.

Anyone have a idea what it is?

It's an arum. It looks like Arum italicum. It puts out these beautiful arrow-shaped leaves with white markings, then creamy-white flower spathes in summer. The foliage then dies back completely but if the flowers were pollinated you'll get spikes of reddish-orange berries in autumn. (It might of course be a different, native variety.)
