I'm sorry I don't know the answer to your question (although I think it's "yes" cut off the big leaves). Those plants are stunning! I've just planted a mixed bag of seeds and hope I get some beauties like that.

I hope you get some too. I have never seen seeds for coleus or I would have bought me some. These are the first I was able to find around here. They were in a six pack for $1.50, which I thought was a deal for me. I am very pleased. Good luck!

Your coleus are beautiful..That red one especially..where did you find such a bargain? I saw some big leaf types at Walmart but not the red, otherwise I'd have bought it..Toni

I got them at the beginning of the season at a Lowes Home Improvement store. They were in the six packs and I would have never guessed they would have ended up so pretty. I actually have two that color red and one a darker burgundy. I am very pleased. If I was smart enough to share far off I would root you one to send but I am not sure I am... LOL!!

Here in NC, the Farmer's Market is a great place to get coleus.
