Perhaps I am mistaken about this, but I seem to recall that this is a plant that doesn't like to be moved. I believe it puts down a tap root that is almost inevitably broken when moving. I am sure someone else can give you info on how these are best propogated. By the way, how long do these take to bloom anyway? This is the 2nd year for mine and only a few wispy blooms.)

Hey, i have been growing goatsbeard for about 5 yrs. It is best not to move them. If you want an additional plant i would just go and purchase one. Shadeeladee, are you giving your aruncus enough sun? It always amazes me when i open a plant catalog or go to a nursery and see it classified as a shade plant. it really is not. It wants some shelter from the hot 2 to 4pm sun. Less than 4 hours of sun will only produce a small flowerless plant at least thats been my expierence growing it. rock
