i need help to identify a plant

Lampshade

i've got a plant growing by my pond, the leaves are about 4 inches wide, they are round. The leaves are furry all over, and seem to repel all water that lands on them. There is one leaf per stem, and each stem comes from a central point in the ground. It does have flowers, but they seem insignificant compared with the leaves, the flowers are yellow/green and are about 4mm wide.

Can anyone give some suggestions as to what this plant might be?

p.s. i don't know if this was the right forum to ask, but it seemed right because the leaves on the plant looked much more important than the flowers.
