Ok i may have cheated it was grown in a greenhouse, you can see some parts of it in pics 3 & 4, does anyone know what i should plant in with the EE once the coleus die back? i started with river rocks but the plants make it look nicer because the EE is getting taller so it has sortof a big base now.

Your Coleus and the Colocasia should continue to do fine if in the greenhouse over winter. Or you could take cuttings of the Coleus and have new plants for next year, planting a tropical vine perhaps at base of Colocasia. There's a variegated Hedera canariensis with larger sturdier leaves than the other Hedera ivies which would be nice although possibly not hardy for your zone, fine in greenhouse though. josh
