Since bringing home my lush, full, leafy ficus (5 days ago), it has lost half it's leaves already. Anyone can tell me why???

They don't like to be moved and having to acclimatize! This is normal. Once it adjusts to where you put it, it'll come back (providing it has sufficient light and humidity!

Yup, Dee is right, they are VERY temperamental! Change their light or temperature and they adjust themselves for the new climate. It'll recover, give it time.

ok, but it looks like it is all shriveling. I left for the weekend and when I returned, about another 2/3 of the leaves fell off, or died. What if it loses all it's leaves?

When I brought this baby home, it was FULL of leaves. Now it looks like this:
