hey all, been reading for awhile... first post though!

so....When I bought the cute little thing it was purple and waffley (last spring)... now it has a few of those leaves... but mostly it is all smooth bright green and small leaves..... I recently moved it from atop the fridge a few feet from a west window to the windowsill of a north window.... but that was only a week or so ago.

what would cause it to lose its purple? maybe I don't water it enough... I just did a web search that revealed a love of lots of water... but would that cause loss of purple? anyone know?
