| I grew some mache (corn salad) in a med tunnel this winter. Every time I harvested it, I noticed an awful cheese or foot odor. It tasted fine, but I don't think I could keep this in the fridge for any length of time. Anyone else experience this?

| Hi, I don't cover mine. It is happy under the snow; if I leave any it will bolt in spring and self-seed. So never noticed any smell. I kept small amounts of it in the fridge a couple of times, never noticed anything either. You posted that in April, so my contribution is late... oh well... |
