I live in zone 6a and was wanting to plant some vates and chmapion collard greens am i to late for these in my zone? i read that they like the cold? are they anyway i can start them indoors some time and then put them out in the fall or someone help thanks

Usually the best time to plant collards is in later summer for them to mature in fall. I planted mine in late July and the quality was good when they were ready in late September into October.
