 o
yellowish Cucumber leaves

I have cucumbers planted in pots. The first year they did fine and were green thoughout the season. This year the plants start out o.k , later on however the leaves turn yellowish in color. I tried a 3 in one spray (insecticide / miticide / fungicide ) from ace hardware, the problem has still not gone.
Have been putting in miracle grow water soluble fertilizer now and then for the last 3 weeks or so. Initially i thought i saw some improvement but the leaves still look yellowish.. One of the plants was o.k till about 4 days back but turned yellowish in the last few days... Any idea what it is ??.

1)too much / too less water.
2)too much / too less fertilizer.
3)pests / fungus etc

Thanks
Hasan

RE: yellowish Cucumber leaves

Bacterial wilt. Nothing to be done for it now.

Next year, watch out for any spotted cucumber beetles as they vector the bacterium that causes the wilt. If you see one, spray with your favorite insecticide.
