I live in Rochester Ny and i was wondering how can you winter pepper plants. They are already in cotainers and i would like to know if a window or growing light is really necessary because of the helicopter sweeps.

I would think that you might be able to keep things going with a shoplight or some compact fluorescent lights near a warm window. Not sure that it would be worth the electricity, but it might be fun!

Helicopter sweeps? If you are growing peppers, I don't think you need to worry.
