Sowing in the Heat

So I moved to San Antonio in the fall of last year. I had a great producing garden, but now just about everything is harvested, and the garden is looking very bare.

I am looking for suggestions for things I can plant now, that will tolerate the heat (we are normally hoovering around 100 degrees right now) and that will quick to produce, as I am planning a fall garden to be sowed in late September.

PLEASE.....I really would love some suggestions.

Oh wow, lots of things. Yard long beans, okra, cow peas, chard.

It has been hanging around 100* and I amm starting to have some blank spots in my beds. I am a newbie (a real newbie) and want to get as much as possible from my short season. I have started mini-greenhouse (don't you just love other people throw away clear vege packing?)
I have major bolting going on so I am trying to save seeds from my favorites. Seeds I havent seen around 'these parts'
My Tomatoes have truly gotten big and out of hand (OK nobody told me about suckering) I am learning a lot
BUT
what can I plant now?
