Hello everyone, I'm working on making a salad garden for the fall and winter which will be protected by a glass cold frame which I'll soon be constructing. I'm hoping to harvest spinach, lettuce and mache as long as possible through the cold months. I've built a nice raised bed that is 10ftx4ft and the long side of it runs south to north because of the way the rest of my garden lies. So my question is, with the bed running north-south how should I orient my cold frames? (I'll post some pictures with ideas sketched on them.)
