I planted seeds for broccoli rabe around the beginning of the month here in Southern New Jersey. They will probably be ready for harvest in a few weeks. I've never tried fall planted B. Raab before, so don't have much more to offer. You could surely plant seeds now, and if it gets too cold before they mature, just cover with a row cover or something. A farmer friend plants seeds in mid to late september for an early spring harvest. I will be trying that this year (same for spinach).

Thanks Irene. We should get ours in the ground this week. We have some old windows to put over the cold frame so maybe that will extend our growing a little. And if they don't come up till next spring, that would be fine too. Thanks for your help.
