Four Season Vegetable Gardening

Fasteners for low tunnels

I have just made a movable, 10 ft. long, low tunnel with 12" EMT. I bought plastic clamps to fasten the agribon and plastic but the agribon tears when I put the clamps on and/or when I take it off. Does anyone have any experience with this and do you have ideas for a solution? There is not enough plastic or agribon to use weights to hold it down.

I think you must use weights even if you use clamps. but try doing lashes across and then stapling and weighing those down. The clamps I have used *could* tear the row cover but luckily haven't. It seems like a careful situation.
