Four Season Vegetable Gardening

i planted a pattypan squash plant in late august or so as a lark. It is just now producing a few blossoms. We had major heat until the end of october (90's). now it is cooler, with temps 45 (night)-65. it looks like i will get at least one good squash, and that I may get a few. I am not warming or protecting it at all. I just want to know if y'all think it will keep going until a real frost.

Based on my experiences in the past, the flavor and texture will not be good. I think this has to do with shorter hours of sunlight, but I don't know that as a fact, and you may have a completely different outcome to mine.
