A friend of mine and I were sniffing my Wintersweet (Chimonanthus praecox) yesterday and we were trying to figure out what it smelled like. I kept saying it reminded me of something, but I couldn't put my finger on it...until today. I think it smells very much like Arabian jasmine! My sambac is blooming in my grow room now, and I picked a flower and compared the two. Not identical, but as similar as the roses 'Fragrant Cloud' and 'Double Delight'. Does anybody else think so?
