| Has anyone flowered this in zone 9 condition? How does the fragrance compare to other lilacs? And does it really need a low-chill to bloom well?

| Can't speak to zone 9, but my plant is doing well in zone 5 in Central Ohio. While there is a fragrance, ours doesn't really compare to other more fragrant lilacs. It's a mild scent at best. |
