Over the weekend I heard a local gardening show mention night blooming honeysuckle. So far I have not been able to find much information on the web.

Can anyone help? Botanical name?

Never heard of it. Could they have meant night blooming jasmine?

Well, they could have meant night blooming cereus. Some true honeysuckles are only fragrant at night --i.e., goldflame -- but the blooms are open during the day as well as at night.

I did not realize that Goldflame was fragrant at night. I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the tip.

The garden show host is very good and she called it honeysuckle and mentioned that it was rare.

If I find any answers I'll post back.

Thanks for your help.
