Which Variety do you have?

The seed packet from NK says Sweet Trumpets NICOTIANA and that it grows 4 ft with white flowers. I winter sowed them and thought they were foxglove when I transplanted them. But as they grew, the leaves were a bright green and really smelled. The flowers were nice though. A restaurant grows them in their landscape and theirs smelled the same. Maybe I am just sensitive to tobacco.

Nicotiana is allied tobacco, and it has many of the same alkaloids. Don't expect that it's leaves should smell good.
