Bauhinia acuminata

I have a Bauhinia acuminata that has not bloomed in the 6 years I've been growing it. It's height is over 8' at this point, very healthy. I've fed it once in the Spring and once in the late summer. It's difficult to find answers as to how many times a year I should be feeding it in order for it to bloom. It's also way taller than I had expected a dwarf to grow.

RE: Bauhinia acuminata

Can you prvide more details?

Like how much sunlight it gets? What kind of pH it is subjected to? What kind of fertilizer you use?
What zone you are in?
Is it potted or in the ground?
