Solandra grandiflora variegata

I was watering in my greenhouse when I realized something was staring back at me. This variegated chalice vine was flowering! The scent is of coconut but the flower size was huge! You could fit a grapefruit inside it! The whole thing was 6" from side to side of the flower. Looks like something from the little shop of horrors!
When I can get the photo reduced in bits I'll post a photo.

Aren't they cool! I saw a non variegated one in a nursery in No. Hollywood once and was like...Gotta have one of those! :o) Awesome plants! I have one of each...waiting for blooms! :o)
